What is the Digital Transformation Support Pilot Programme (DTSPP)?
The Digital Transformation Support Pilot Programme (DTSPP) is a government-initiated funding scheme designed to assist local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their digital transformation efforts to enhance competitiveness and operational efficiency. The programme provides ready-to-use basic digital technology solutions support through a 1:1 matching grant, helping SMEs adopt digital tools such as electronic payment systems, online promotion, customer management, and discount systems.
Key Features:
· Funding Amount: Total government funding of HKD 500 million.
· Funding Model: 1:1 matching grant.
· Eligibility: Local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
· Scope of Application: Includes electronic payment systems, online promotion, customer management, and discount systems.
Eligibility :
1. Registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance (Chapter 310).
2. Not a publicly listed company, statutory body, or non-governmental organization receiving public funds.
3. Have substantive business operations in the local catering or retail industry.
4. Employ fewer than 50 full-time employees.
Required Documents:
1. A copy of a valid business registration certificate issued under the Business Registration Ordinance.
2. One of the following documents proving substantive business operations at the address listed in the application:
o A copy of an electricity bill from the past three months; or
o A copy of a water bill from the past two quarters; or
o A copy of a lease agreement.
3. Proof of belonging to a specified industry:
o Catering Industry: A copy of one of the qualifying licenses from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department listed on the programme website.
o Retail Industry: Photos of the store at the listed address showing substantial retail operations.
4. A declaration signed and stamped by the owner or director of the applicant organization, indicating agreement with the terms and conditions of the application.
Application Steps:
1. Complete the application form.
2. Submit the required documents mentioned above.
3. Await approval and notification.
